We visited this restaurant for dinner. We had to wait slightly for a table, so it is best to book in advance. The restaurant is styled in a way that they offer local dishes, how you would find in a local family’s house. They also offer local dishes which are sized to serve 2-3 people. We ordered the tacu tacu, which was delicious! It is perfect for anyone who is looking for an authentic meal and huge portions.
Went for dinner with two coleagues. It is located in Barranco, in an old house set as a ¨taberna¨. Food is served as if home made prepared by locals. Delicious. Huge portions.
We always visit here every time we return to Lima and the food is always excellent. One of our favourite restaurants, great service and great price!
Went on the recommendation of a colleague who used to live in Lima. It was three of us, I had the maracuyá chilcano, another had the lime one and another one a cocktail. We split the cebiche con chicharrón de pulpo, escabeche de bonito and jalea de pejerey. All three were amazing, although probably the jalea was my favorite, since the sauce went perfectly with the crunchiness of the little fish. The two others were great too. We were stuffed at the end. The ambience was amazing and loved barranco. The total was 200 soles, so about 20 dollars each!! A lot less that what I paid for much more mediocre food in Miraflores.
